Pete began his career at Seward Sales Corporation in 1984. He served the first 10 years as a Residential Market Specialist, focusing his efforts on the Home Builder - Lumber Dealer and three step building material distributors. And in 1992 he added the Commercial & Roofing markets to his Residential responsibilities. In 1994, having Òbit off more then he could chewÓ, divested the Residential marketplace and now focuses on the wants and needs of the Commercial & Roofing markets through roofing, waterproofing, masonry contractors, as well as our well established two step commercial distributors, and last but not least the many design professionals in Central Indiana.

Pete Baker is very active in the local chapter of the Construction Specification Institute and also serves on the Regional and national Committees. He served as the Indianapolis Chapter President in 2002-2003 and is a Construction Documents Technologist and a Certified Construction Product Representative in CSI. He prides himself as a consultant to Contractors, Architects, and Owners on matters of Thermal & Moisture Protection (CSIÕs Division 7).

Pete is happily married to Gayle, they have two beautiful daughters, Amy and Colleen. When not touting the features and benefits of Styrofoam, Sarnafil, or GP DensGuard products, he enjoys keeping physically fit, playing the piano, bicycling, yard work, and traveling with his family.

Doug Crook
Central Indiana Sales Representative, Residential Specialist

Joining the Seward Sales team in July 2007, Doug moved to Indianapolis after spending the previous nine years in Chicago.  Originally from Vincennes, Indiana, he has over 15 years of construction experience working in a family-owned construction company and also as a partner in his own company.  Doug’s responsibility as the Residential Sales Specialist will include working with and educating Home Builders and Lumber Dealers in the Indianapolis/Central Indiana area.

In his spare time he enjoys going to sporting events, fishing and spending time in the gym.
