Commercially, Seward Sales Salespersons are unique in the level
of field experience that they possess. Their Architectural sellers
collectively amass over 85 years of field experience calling on
Design Professionals, Roofing, Masonry, Concrete contractors as
well as product distributors and dealers. We are in the marketplace
to provide technical product information to mechanics on site, to
distribution salespersons who are bidding, estimating and themselves
servicing projects. We are the eyes and ears of the manufacturers
that we represent and because we are technically trained by them
and authorized by them to represent them in the field we provide
a very valuable function to you our customer. People and companies
talk and advertise that they are service oriented but when you really
donÕt sell anything BUT service you really must be eat, breathe
and providing service to all facets of the marketplace.
Architecturally, we devote our time and effort consulting with Design
Professionals on projects that are in various phases of Planning
but most typically Schematic or Design Development. We do spend
the majority of our time in the Construction Document stage, once
again ÒconsultingÓ over various Specification sections in Divisions
7 & 9. We consult and educate Architects, Engineers, and other Design
Professionals by the countless Box Luncheon presentations that we
provide every winter and spring. Design firms look to Seward Sales
as the Industry authorities in Roofing, Foundation, and Wall assemblies
and the components that go into them. Design Professionals are able
to count on our expertise to direct them to the proper product for
their application. Each and every one of our Architectural sellers
is a Certified Document Technologist by the Construction Specification
Institute. This designation demonstrates a knowledge of general
conditions of the construction contract in common use and CSI recommended
procedures for project manual organization. Each of our Architectural
sellers is also a member of his local CSI Chapter and active within
that organization.
Residentially the Seward Sales Corporation Team spends its time
working diligently with the local and state Home Builders Associations
committing ourselves to help the industry that has helped us grow
for so many years. We are active member on committees through out
the state, ranging from codes to membership. We are also active
in the ILBSA (Indiana Lumber Builder Supply Association). We not
only call on Distributors and Lumberyards, but also on individual
builders, because with out them, the industry would stop ...
Seward Sales Corporation conducts many builder meetings with the
intent of educating builders on the science of building and where
our products can help in the construction process, and long after
